Round-up (Opinions included)
Is true? are attention seekers, of the see, me, see, me, kind? The writer goes as far as describing bloggers as attention whores. If this true, what does this say about non-blogging, blog readers, they are of the attention giving kind, shey? I say the article is a piece of well written nonsense.
Always wondered why Americans, are so indifferent when it comes to adopting new technology. consumers have rallied to the smartphone banner, adopting the big-screened, fast-chipped and qwerty-keyboarded mobile handsets more than twice as fast as their American counterparts.
is making a tonne of money, a trillion dollars, this shows the power of the hype machine, it is generally agreed that the ipod is not the best mp3 player out there, yet it sells so much. The ipod has actually turned some commonly held beliefs, about brand loyalty on their heads. The thingie looks as good as the iphone, maybe even better than the iphone sef. But the Apple hype machine is in full swing, oh uninformed consumers why hath thou so 'herdish(?)' , Apple users all belong to a cult. of course I am beefing Mr Jobs. Crappy batteries.. duh.
Obama's politics 2.0 is in full swing, lets see how much punch this brother packs. I am proud of this him though. Could Republicans be in office again come next election, that would be so sweeeeet.
A lot of talk about on the web this week, the tightwad study is generating a lot of discussion in economic blogs. Scientist claim to have found the neurons that stop you from doling out that extra cash required to purchase that prada purse. I'd say I found that neurone long ago its called common sense. Okay this is my conspiracy theory argument here, a whole new industry will develop from this neuroecon phenomenon, counsellors, neureconpharmaresearchers, etc.
Last year Britons gave over $660 million to Nigerian-style scans, from Harpers Index, February issue. That is what they say, however they fail to report that this figure is a result of statistical creativity and number padding, pheeeew. On the flip side, this shows that Britons are very...(feel free to complete this sentence). My take, last year British banks recieve 100 bajillion dollars from corrupt Nigerian politicians, pheew. Oops okay this is for the kids, stay away from fraud and do go to school.

Okay that was just a crazy thought running through my mind; how about we have our own African pop culture, our own Andy Warhol Side note: I have tried so hard but I can not seem to wrap my mind around the hype about his work). How about we infuse some modernism into African Art. Our own slogans. How about we build a wiki to generate contents like this? How about we do something.
