iQueue (Pictures)
So the iPhone was launched last night. I took shots of folks waiting patiently to get their hands on the cell phone. Pardon the picture quality, I took them with a non-iPhone LOL. Getting into the apple store pix2, was tougher than getting past the TSA at the airport. Notice the iCop with an eagle eye. He kept an eye out for the impromptu black market that sprang up in front of the apple store. I have no iDea why anybody would camp out for a 4 days to buy a phone that will be available in a few weeks.
I am not a fan of the iphone, I doubt if the phone will live up to the hype. How do you get google gears to work on windows mobile 6? Is that even possible at all? I need help. Save Dafur.

49.99 LOL. I did not see any naijas there o. It was funny sef because i was wondering if black folks are anti-apple or something. Thanks for coming by jare.
Interesting...We'd see what comes out of this...
Black folks anti-apple ke? If I'd pull it out of of my hiney, a good number of black folks use iPods, which is Apple made, too. Btw, that's just in your part of the whole "picture"
@yosh true that i neglected to mention that this was Huntington station Long Island NY. The queue was just a reflection of the demography of the area.
Those people obviously don't have legit jobs bcoz which employer go gree make u go they stand to purchase phone.
i am always amazed at how people go crazy for new gadgets. Some nearly passed out over the play station, abi was it wii? I am not even sure again.
i don't get the fuss about the iphone....but i'd luv to have 1. LOL!!!
I just thought I'd share what I read in today's paper based on a comment on Consumerist.com -
"The IPhone is the trophy wife of the cellular world. It's gorgeous to look at, interesting and amusing at parties. But at the end of the day, it's going to...take your money and leave you unfulfilled"
I also found the idea of people spending days on a queue to buy a phone - and please allow me to say it is just a phone no matter how gadgetry it seems it is just a jazzed up version of what Alexander Graham Bell invented - more than a little outrageous and downright silly
